Alongside my private practice, I’ve spent time counselling in schools, at Peace Hospice in Watford, and within an Employee Assistance Programme.
These settings have given me a deep understanding of how differently women experience struggle, and how important it is to have a space where you can simply be yourself.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 20 years working as a Learning and Development Coach, and later as a Family Support Worker and Domestic Abuse Support Worker at Watford Women’s Centre.
Being alongside women during some of their most challenging moments taught me how much courage it takes to reach out for help, and how powerful the right support can be.
All of these roles combined with my own lived experience have shaped the way I work.
They’ve shown me that we all need someone in our corner at times, and that having a steady, compassionate space can be genuinely life changing.
